Our passionate, close-knit team is keen for a MSP experienced Solutions Architect to implement, document and support complex infrastructure and line of business applications for a diverse range of clients.   

Great Sydney Location  

Our inner west location is close to the CBD and has a flexible working environment, with a 'hang-out zone', indoor pool, outdoor resort-style pool, gym & shower facilities. Parking is also included, or you have the option to work from home!

Who are You? 

As Solutions Architect you will be responsible for the overall performance of the service delivery team and designing innovative solutions for our many and varied clients.  Reporting directly to the CEO, you will head up a local service delivery team to deliver BAU technical support in accordance with SLAs, provide proactive maintenance, continuous improvement and project design and technical delivery. 

You are comfortable balancing Solutions delivery, project scoping and deliverables as well as acting as the CEO’s ‘Right hand man’.  You will lead by example while being “hands on” supporting our broad range of technologies at head office and on the cloud. You will lead the way with architecting IT solutions and AWS implementations across the business. Your strong understanding of IT security will underpin all of your activities. 

Technology is both your profession and your passion and you’ll share that passion with your colleagues, mentoring and coaching them to improve their technical skills.  

What You'll Do. 

  • Design, implement and document customer projects 

  • Engage with the sales team to scope and deliver products and projects 

  • Configure, deploy and administer LAN, WAN, security and remote access technologies 

  • Support customers with a wide variety of platforms and technologies 

  • Lead complex projects to build and stage equipment for rollouts 

  • Build and configure desktops, servers and storage networking hardware 

  • Develop and mentor a team of passionate engineers 

  • Senior level fault escalation and resolution. 

Qualifications and Experience. 

To apply you must have: 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar technical lead role 

  • 7+ years' broad "hands on" technical experience within an MSP environment 

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing projects 

  • Track record ensuring availability, stability and security in cloud environments 

  • Proven ability to mentor technical staff as a proficient “hands on” technical practitioner 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills 

Highly regarded experience: 

  • Current Azure Administrator Associate Certification or equivalent 

  • Demonstrated ability with cloud telephony 

  • Experience as a people manager, or the appetite to enter management
